Well it seems that I'm not going to be published with Silver Publishing after all.
Conflict with their EIC forced me to pull, but don't worry.....Forbidden Temptation and the rest of the series has found a home already.
My other house, Melange-books picked those up before the even got cold!
We are currently working on the covers, so as soon as something is done, everyone will get to see!
Other News!!
Secret Craving Publishing, a new house, has picked up my Guardian book--Forget Me Not! Due date for that, May, and guess what...think it might get print in Sept. I'm very excited about that series. It happened to be a hard sell, thinking because it isn't my normal, but hey! Everyone needs to change things up once in a while right?
Here's the cover!
Teaser to come later!

December 30, 2010, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota
New small press, Melange Books, LLC, www.melange-books.com, is opening its online doors on Saturday, January 1, 2011, offering digital and print on demand books.
Melange Books, LLC, is offering books for sale in several genres, including mainstream fiction, historical and contemporary romance, erotica, science fiction-fantasy, and young adult, for your reading pleasure.
The creation of Melange was a ‘group effort’ composed of experienced editors and artists from another house that recently closed its doors. Melange is opening its doors with over 150 releases available in digital and print format.
Melange owner, Nancy Schumacher, from White Bear Lake, MN, eagerly took on the creation, with very few bumps along the way. “I couldn’t have opened my doors without the help of the experienced staff I’ve been lucky to hire on at Melange,” Ms. Schumacher stated.
Books will be available through several online sources; the Melange website at www.melange-books.com, Fictionwise Books, www.fictionwise-com, All Romance Ebooks, http://www.allromanceebooks.com, Amazon books, www.amazonbooks.com, and in print through LULU publishing at www.lulu.com. In the very near future, all books will also be available in Kindle format.
Melange Books, LLC, is offering authors a competitive contract for publication, and in February will open its doors to submissions.

Prologue
Kane lay on his back, on the cold steel bed chained and naked. He opened and closed his fists, strained against the chains, but the damn things wouldn’t give. Not when he was pumped full of drugs which kept him in a weakened state. But no amount of drugs could steal the burn he felt in his veins right now.
He could see the full moon from a dirty, cracked window and deep down Kane knew it had to do with why he was feeling this way. He didn’t know what it was, but he knew it had to be because of the moon. That much he’d figured out on his own.
“I’m worried about you.”
Kane strained again when he heard his sister in his head. Sasha was scared and he lay helpless on this slab.
“Every month you suffer like this, but this time it’s the worst ever.”
“I’ll be fine,” he answered her. “It never lasts too long before it goes away.”
“But what if it’s something big? What if they decide to destroy you?”
He heard the desperation and hated that he was pinned down, unable to go to her like she needed. She was his twin, born eight years after him. Kane had known in those first eight years of his life that something was missing, and he wasn’t talking about a parent or the knowledge of what he was. Sasha had been missing and he was only complete after she was born. And even though they were now forbidden to be close, and he couldn’t hold her at night to keep her safe and warm from the horrors of this life, he was whole. But now something else was missing.
“Blood count is different, and I can’t figure out why.” One of the men taking blood and shooting him up with other stuff looked up from his work when Josh came up next to Kane.
“Is that it?” Josh asked.
“For now, yes.” The man picked up another syringe and got closer to Kane. “After I check over his sperm, I’ll let you know.”
“You do that.” Josh turned and walked away.
Kane snarled at the guards who parted his legs and he growled at the doctor right before he pushed the needle into the heavy sac between his legs. He didn’t feel a thing, like he knew he should have, thanks to the burn in his body, but it still didn’t stop the rage at having something else taken from him.
“I’m going to kill you,” Kane said to the doctor, his voice low and vicious. “I’ll enjoy watching you bleed to death at my feet.”
The man’s face paled and the syringe dropped to the floor. Clearly, Kane could scare this one.
Kane, don’t, please. Sasha begged in his head, but Kane couldn’t control himself.
He strained against the chains and began to change; at least he let his face change. A wolf snout replaced his human nose. His mouth opened for a snarl that turned into one hell of an animal growl. Fur began to cover his nakedness. The sight caused everyone around him to take a step back.
“That’s enough, Kane.”
Someone shot him with a stun gun. Fifty thousand volts hit him in the side, stopping his change and sent pain all through his body. Kane yelled and stiffened up, the chains preventing him from curling up. For longer than necessary, the volts kept coming until he almost passed out.
“Now play nice, Kane.” Jason leaned over the table, smiling at him. “I would hate for the good doctor to damage something down there. You might want to use it one of these days.”
Breathing hard, Kane tried to twist from his bonds. He wanted to be free right now, so he could wrap his hands around that son-of-a-bitch’s neck. Nothing at this point in his life would give him more pleasure then to squeeze the life from his cold eyes.
“Fuck you,” Kane hissed before he spit in Jason’s face.
Jason stood back and wiped his face with his hand. “And here I was afraid that you were going to be too good. When the doc is done,” he spoke to the guards, but kept his eyes on Kane. “Take him out back. Been a while since he was in the chair.”
Normally Kane would shake at the mention of the chair. Jason had put it together for nothing more than torture. After a beating by the guards, he was whacked repeatedly by a ball on a rope until his whole groin was black and blue. The last time he was in the chair he couldn’t stand or piss comfortably for at least a week afterward.
“Enjoy it while it lasts, you prick!” Kane yelled at Jason when he turned and walked away from him. “Your time is coming.”

SHILO IS OUT!
Shilo
By
Jaden Sinclair
He was nothing more than a backup for the company; only the company underestimated their program. Shilo is free to make his own choices but has one glitch in his programming: very few emotions. He's ruthless, cunning, strong, and doesn't give a damn who he has to go through in order to get what he wants, and what he wants is Star Murray.
She was tossing and turning in her bed, feeling guilty
about refusing to upload the chip raked at Star until she was
about to scream. She was ready to give up and go down to
work when she started to feel as if she was no longer alone.
As usual, she was dressed in her long button down shirt
that reached her knees with the sleeves rolled up, but no
shorts since she was in bed. Slowly Star looked over her
shoulder and what she saw standing in the corner of her
room was the one thing Star was so not ready to face. She
flung the blankets off her legs and bolted out of the bed so
fast that a small sense of hope hit her.
She made it around the corner before large, strong
hands grabbed and slammed her up against the wall. Her
heart pounded, fear had her hands coming up defensively,
and her eyes were wide open as hands smacked the wall on
either side of her head. She was so short that her head
barely came up to the middle of a very muscular chest.
Ever so slowly, as she worked to calm her breathing,
Star moved her eyes up that bare chest to a thick neck,
strong looking jaw. Higher still, her eyes went to full lips
that were slightly parted in a grin, straight nose and higher
to sparkling greenish-blue eyes that held a lot of humor and
brownish-blonde hair touching bare shoulders.
“Oh, shit,” she breathed out in a whisper.
“Hello, Princess.” He smiled, his even white teeth
bright against the tan of his face.
“Jesus!” she hissed. “How the hell did you get…get…”
she stuttered, not able to find to words she needed.
“Out?” he cocked his head, bending at the knees so he
was face to face with her. “Let’s just say you’re not the only
computer genius around.” He leaned real close to her ear,
lowering his voice. “Are you scared?”
Star turned her head away from him, which was a bad
move. His lips brushed her throat and moved down to her
shoulder. She grabbed his wrist with both hands when she
felt a tug at the top button of her long shirt. Star sucked her
breath in at the feel of his kiss on her bare shoulder and her
eyes started to roll into the back of her head at the pleasure.
She couldn’t believe this! He was seducing her!
“Stop,” she breathed out.
“I have a promise to fulfill,” he said, his voice lowering,
deepening. “Do you remember what I said what would
happen once I got my hands on you?” Another button
slipped free. “You ready for it? Because I am.”
Star reacted, didn’t think. Her knee came up so fast and
so hard, it caught both her and him off guard. She made
contact, hitting him between the legs, dropping him to the
ground.
“Does that look like I’m scared, you prick?” Star yelled
at him, pushing him away and then she ran. Alyna and Seth
came running and Star plowed into Seth. He caught her
before she could fall to the cold floor. “He...he...he,” she
stuttered.
“What’s wrong?” Alyna demanded, closing her robe
and looking at Star as if she’d lost her mind.
Held in Seth’s arms, Star looked over her shoulder and
pointed behind her. “Back there,” she managed to get with
much difficulty. “He’s...he’s...oh shit!”
Star struggled out of Seth’s arms to move behind him,
using him as a shield. She backed up as Shilo limped out of
the shadows, holding his groin. Seth pulled away from her
and Star watched, speechless, as the two men embraced
tightly, and she heard Seth call him Shilo.
“Did you kick him?” Alyna whispered.
“Yeah,” Star answered. She was about to say something
else when a strobe light went off. “Shit!” she hissed,
rushing to her computers and bringing up the security
cameras. “Shit, shit, shit!”
“What’s wrong?” Alyna asked.
“We’ve got company,” Star answered. She pushed away
from the computer and ran to her room. She grabbed some
jeans, put them on, and was working on her shoes when
Alyna rushed in.
“What’re you doing?” Alyna asked.
“What does it look like?” Star snapped back. “I’m
getting the hell out of here. You want to stay with those
two, be my guest.”
“I need some clothes for him,” Seth said, coming up
behind Alyna so quietly that Star jumped.
She opened her mouth to tell him that Saker had left a
bag when all of the strobe lights went off, lighting the place
up like a dance floor. Power went off, encasing them all in
darkness before the backup generator kicked in.
“They’re inside,” Star whispered, looking up at the
ceiling.
“Seth!” Shilo yelled, snapping them all out of the
stunned silenced. Star followed everyone out and over to
the cooler. Shilo had a pair of jeans on and the hidden door
popped open. “The girls can get out through there.”
“Where’s it go?” Seth asked Star.
“Um, woods.” She slung the backpack over her
shoulder.
Seth cocked one of the handguns, and handed it to
Alyna. “Get out, pick up the truck and we’ll met up with
you on the road.” Alyna nodded and took the gun. “Take
Star with you.”
An explosion hit, knocking everyone to the ground. Star
screamed when she went down, then gasped when hands
grabbed her around the waist, and shoved her against a wall.
Shilo covered her body with his own while parts of her
computers went flying everywhere. She covered her ears as
he reared up and shot off his gun. Peering around him, Star
saw several men rushing toward them. She twisted out from
under him, kicked the door open and while bullets flew,
ricocheting off equipment around her, she crawled out and
away from the shit that was coming down on her home.

Stefan’s Mark, Claiming Skylar & Dedrick’s Taming by Jaden Sinclair
Shifter Series Books 1, 2 & 3
Paranormal
Amira Press
ISBN: 978-1-934475-60-7, 978-1-934475-96-6, 978-1-935348-10-8

‘Stefan’s Mark’
Stefan Draeger has been waiting four long years to finally claim his mate. He’d stumbled across Sidney Martin when she was too young for him to claim but he’s been preparing for her and now that the time is right he’ll do whatever it takes to make her his own.
‘Claiming Skyler’
Skyler Draeger has always had feeling for her brother’s friend Adrian Laswell however one stupid mistake by him changes how she looks at him, just as Adrian realizes that Skyler is his mate. Six months have passed and Adrian is done waiting for Skyler to calm down and accept him as her mate, he’s taking his mate. But Skyler’s not ready to forgive and while passion burns between them Adrian’s got a long way to go for Skyler to accept him.
‘Dedrick’s Taming’
Dedrick Drager doesn’t know why but his sister-in-law’s best friend drives him crazy! Everytime Jaclyn Davis is around he either wants to kill her or drag her off to the nearest bedroom, neither of which would go over well with his family. Although his brother has a successful mating with a human female, Dedrick doesn’t believe such a thing would be possible for him and even though he’s developing feelings for Jaclyn he’s not going to act on them. But he doesn’t count on Jaclyn having different ideas!
Jaden Sinclair’s Shifter Series is a series I read long ago; however, she has just recently revamped them, adding depth to existing characters, new characters that give the story more flavor and ramping up the intensity from one page to the next. While the previous versions of these stories were fun reading in comparison with these new versions all I can say is WOW! From Stefan to Adrian to Dedrick all of these stories kept me hooked. Kudos to Ms. Sinclair for taking what were already good stories and making them great, showcasing how wonderfully she’s grown as an author. Give me MORE!!!

A Pirate and a Shifter....What more could you ask for?
“It’s your move,” his opponent announced impassively.
Henry glanced up again at the man. He slouched back in his chair, blue eyes sharp as the steel on his hip, as he watched Henry. His opponent had jet-black hair, slicked back in a leather thong. A nice sized diamond stud pierced his left lobe and a well-trimmed goatee covered his upper lip and chin. His clothes appeared to be of the finest quality, something Henry found strange for a man sitting in this kind of pub.
“How…how much was the bet again?” Henry’s voice shook.
The man smiled, his tan face showing a clean, white teeth. He leaned forward in his chair, clasping his hands together. Henry licked his dry lips, staring at the pinky ring on his right hand. His ring was a snake wrapped around his finger to form the band with two rubies for its eyes.
“One hundred dollars,” the man repeated.
Henry looked at his cards. He knew he had a damn good hand with three tens, but what he didn’t have was the hundred dollars. What he did need, however, was the money in that pot. It would pay off the many debts he owed. The money would even get him and his daughter to their new home, which is where they were heading until he lost all of their money and was now trying to gain some of it back.
With a desperate move on his part, Henry pulled out a small cameo of his sixteen-year-old daughter. He dropped it in the pile, gazing at it with deep regret in his heart.
“What’s that?”
“My daughter,” Henry answered in a dull voice. “I will bet my daughter.”
The lips on the stranger twitched. “You ante your child in our poker game?”
Henry heard the disbelief in the man’s voice. “I have no choice here, mister. I need the money real bad.”
He watched as the cameo was picked up and opened. Henry saw the sudden interest in that intense gaze as he examined Henry’s only daughter. The bastard was all but undressing his little girl with his eyes.
“Do we have a deal?” Henry kept his voice tight.
The man closed the locket and placed it back in the ante pile. When he started Henry in the eyes, Henry felt a chill of dread hit him. He regretted what he had done but knew it was to late to undo it. “We have a deal.”

“Come on,” Dedrick said, his voice lowering to a purr as he moved closer to her ear. “I see it in your eyes every time you look at me. You’re very interested.” She met his eyes in the mirror over the bar. “And curious,” he whispered. “You’re dying inside to know what having sex with me is all about.”
Jaclyn pushed back against him and turned. “Curiosity killed many cats, and I don’t have the lives to spare on you.” She picked up another beer and took a deep drink. “Tell Sid I’ll come by soon. And if she has to send someone to check on me, to please let it not be you.”
Dedrick rubbed his face groaning at the same time. “Okay, what do you want?”
She turned her head, and her blue eyes grabbed his full attention, which made Dedrick feel like he could drown in them. “She must really have something on you if you can’t go home without me.”
“I don’t want her upset,” Dedrick stated. “It’s that simple.”
“Is that the only thing?” Jaclyn cocked her head to one side. As she did, her thick black hair spilled to the side too. It gave Dedrick a mental picture of all that black hair spilling over his chest and then over his legs.
“What do you want?” he said again, after clearing his throat and pushing the image of her sucking on his cock to the back of his mind.
Jaclyn turned back toward him, licked her lips, and gave him a shrug. “Doesn’t really matter now.”
“Oh, don’t chicken out on me now.” He grinned, licked his own lips, and set the bottle down on the bar. “You might have me change my opinion of you.”
She snorted, rolling her eyes and snatching her beer back. “Please. Your opinion of me means jack shit.” She moved closer and stood between his legs, her scent wrapping around him. “You don’t like me. You’ve made that very clear, and now that I know you don’t want a human, it kind of makes my next request pointless.”
“Do you always like to flirt with danger?” His voice was raw and sounded on edge. He raised his hand to wrap some of her long hair into his fist.
“I tend to get bored easily,” she answered quietly.
“Cut the shit, Jaclyn.” He growled low, tugging on her hair. “What do you want?”
She moved closer, hanging her arms over his shoulders, pressing closer to his body. “I want you to kiss me again.” She licked her lips and dropped her gaze to his mouth. “Like a lover would kiss me.”
Henry glanced up again at the man. He slouched back in his chair, blue eyes sharp as the steel on his hip, as he watched Henry. His opponent had jet-black hair, slicked back in a leather thong.
